Product care

I take pride in sourcing and using a variety of natural fibre fabrics, many of which are vintage and/or recycled fabrics. I also use many hand block printed cottons and indigo fabrics. Each garment is unique in its combination of fabrics.

When laundering, please wash with similar colours to prevent colour run. Washing at 30C will help keep colours fresh, and is also better for the environment. Line dry to prevent shrinkage, unless specified to dry away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.

Wool products should be hand washed at a low temperature and air dried.

Hand dyed products such as the Jackets should be hand washed and drip dried out of strong sunlight to prevent colour fade.

Some of the block prints, hand dyed and indigo fabrics will naturally lighten over time with washing and wear. This is a natural action of the fabric, and only adds to its uniqueness.

For hand knitted products, always hand wash gently and drip dry. Being pure alpaca/wool the fibre has a natural cleansing property so should only need washing when visibly dirty.

UK: Parcels are posted via Royal Mail Tracked at £5 per order and £1 extra per additonal item.

USA: UPS delivery is charged at £20 + £3 per item.

Mainland Europe: DHL Express is charged at £18 + £2 per item.

For all orders shipped outside of the UK, the customer will be responsible for any taxes or customs duties incurred. Unfortunately, we are unable to mark the parcels ‘gift’ or ‘no commercial value’. As customs, duties and taxes vary widely from country to country, we advise you contact your local customs agency for details on estimated costs before you purchase.  We have no control over these amounts and will not be held liable. If the item is returned to us due to non payment of duties, you will be refunded less the cost of postage.

Returns

I hope you love your O Moon purchase but understand that sometimes things just aren’t suitable for your requirements. If this is the case, please get in touch as soon as possible (within 7 days of receiving the order).

Returns of unworn, unwashed, re-sellable (ready to ship) items are accepted, either as an exchange, or for refund. We will not be responsible for return postage cost though. Please post using a secure method to avoid disappointment.

Once a custom order (made to order) is placed, I cannot refund the order.

Please note returns of items made using bespoke fabrics cannot be accepted unfortunately.

Sizing

Women’s jacket sizing varies between pieces. The measurements will be added to each individual listing. When ordering a made to order piece please get in touch if you have specific sizing requirements you would like me to accommodate.

O Moon kids clothing is cut on the big side, both for style, comfort, and longevity of use.

Trousers are made with at least two turn ups worth of growing room, some with contrast linings making a style statement of being worn at the younger end of the size. Waists are fully elasticated for growth. Roomy styles to accommodate cloth nappies, and designed with growing children in mind.

Long sleeved tops are designed to be worn oversized with cuffs turned up.
